The Curl Brush — Defined, Frizz-Free Curls in Minutes
Made for 2A to 3C curls.
If you've ever tipped your head upside down, cupped a diffuser at your roots, and prayed for definition... there's an easier way. Our curl brush shapes your natural pattern as it dries, so you get bouncy, separated curls without the wrist cramp, the heat damage, or the half-hour blowout. Wash, scrunch in your product, brush, air-dry. That's the routine.
Why it works
You don't need more product — you need better tools. Curl definition comes down to three things: even product distribution, gentle pattern reinforcement, and minimal disruption while your hair sets. The vented design of our curl brush hits all three:
- Defines without breaking the pattern. Wide-set, flexible bristles glide through wet hair, separating clumps cleanly so curls don't go fluffy as they dry.
- Cuts drying time roughly in half. Vents let air through, so even air-drying happens faster — diffuser optional.
- Distributes product evenly. Your leave-in and gel actually coat every strand instead of pooling in chunks at the ends.
- Heatless friendly. Use it wet, walk away. Or pair with a low-heat diffuser if you're in a hurry.
Who it's for
Best for wavy to curly hair (2A through 3C). If your curls are looser (2A–2B), you'll see more definition and less fluff. If they're tighter (3A–3C), expect bigger volume and cleaner separation between curl clumps. Coily 4A–4C textures can still use it, but you may prefer finger-coiling for the tightest patterns.
How to use
- Wash with a sulfate-free shampoo and condition as normal.
- While hair is soaking wet, scrunch in your leave-in and styling gel.
- Tip your head forward. Brush in slow, downward strokes from mid-length to ends.
- Cup and scrunch any sections that need extra definition.
- Air-dry, or diffuse on cool/low until 80% dry, then let the rest happen naturally.
- Once fully dry, scrunch out the gel cast with a drop of oil.

FAQ
Will this work on my curl type? If you're between 2A and 3C, yes. We've had the best feedback from 2C–3B curls, where definition gains are most dramatic. Tighter coils (4A+) can use it, but a Denman or fingers often work better there.
Can I use it on dry hair? We don't recommend it. Brushing dry curls breaks the cast and causes frizz. Use it on soaking-wet, product-laden hair only.
Will it damage my curl pattern over time? No... there's no heat, no tension, and the bristles are flexible. Many customers use it daily as part of their wash routine.
Does it replace a diffuser? For most people, yes. If you live somewhere humid (looking at you, Brisbane and Cairns), a low-heat diffuser after brushing can lock in the cast faster.

Amazing brush!! I was very sceptical but thought I would try the Curl brush. So pleased I did, it makes such lovely soft curls, not fluffy and flyaway. I took it to my hairdresser to use and she was very impressed. Another great product, thank you Steve
This did not work on my wavy hair - it made it go straight.
Wow this brush works so much better than anything I have tried before, and believe me I have every brush imaginable. It actually gives me ringlets.
Great item. Great customer service
Looking forward to trying this out
